A LITTLE CONTEXT

Inspired by history.
Made for discovery.

A world of extraordinary people

The Three Kingdoms period (220–280 CE) followed the fall of China’s Han dynasty. Wei, Shu Han, and Wu competed for power before the Jin dynasty reunited the country. Several figures in this quiz began their careers during the late Han years leading into that period.

Their lives inspired centuries of storytelling, including the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Our personalities draw on both historical roles and familiar cultural portrayals. Each result separates a short historical background from its storytelling interpretation.

A reflection, not a diagnosis

LEGENDARY YOU is an entertainment experience. Its 28 archetypes are creative interpretations, not scientifically validated psychological categories. A result is a starting point for reflection; it does not define your identity, abilities, or future.

How your result takes shape

Ten decisions unfold across five chapters of a fictional life inspired by the Three Kingdoms. After each decision, a short consequence lets you reflect before continuing. These invented events are not a claim that one real person participated in every historical episode.

Choices contribute to Strategy, Courage, Empathy, Ambition, and Discipline. Each dimension is normalized against the actual minimum and maximum available across the ten questions. The final question asks about a desired legacy and carries 35% of the weight of an actual decision.

Legend Affinity combines 80% similarity to a five-dimensional game archetype and 20% choice-specific character signals. Scores are similarities, not diagnostic probabilities. The same answers always give the same ranking; ties use a fixed character order. 28 archetypes are possible, including the explicitly literary figure Diao Chan.

Strategy does not measure intelligence, and Empathy is not a moral score. Your story and explanations reflect the choices you actually made, using deterministic templates rather than an AI service.

Your progress and shared results

No account, name, email, or other identity information is required. Progress is stored in this browser tab’s session storage. If storage is unavailable, the experience continues in memory. Restarting clears this saved progress. An incompatible older edition starts fresh.

We do not use analytics or third-party tracking. When you open or share a personal result, its URL contains your ten encoded choices and a version identifier so that the recipient can reproduce the same legend. That URL and its choices are sent to the web server and any app or preview service you choose to share with. The encoding is not encryption.

A character-only link opens a general archetype profile without anyone’s answers. Shared personal results do not change the recipient’s own quiz progress. Hosting infrastructure may keep ordinary access logs under your provider’s policies.
